Terms & conditions

Last updated 17 May 2026

By creating an account on Opino or using the site, you agree to the terms below. Read them with your Privacy policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement under Indian law. By signing up, you confirm both.

Your account

One account per person. You're responsible for what happens on your account, so don't share login credentials. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

What you can post

  • Your honest opinion on the day's question.
  • Comments that respect other users — disagreement is welcome, abuse is not.

You may not post:

  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting a person or group.
  • Illegal content, including content that violates someone's privacy or copyright.
  • Spam, advertising, scams, or repeated copy-paste posts.
  • Manipulated content presented as fact.

We may remove any content at our discretion and block accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting on Opino you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display it on the platform and include it in anonymised aggregate analytics (e.g. cohort percentages, summary reports). We will not sell your individual response or comment.

Service availability

We aim for the platform to be available and accurate, but we make no warranties. The service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Opino and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if anything material changes and bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.
